b.     Investigate and explain how personal choices can directly affect a person’s health, such as exercise, nutrition, and use of drugs.

OBJECTIVES: Make invitations to open house, discuss food pyramid web quest

MATERIALS: worksheets from Thursday

PROCEDURES:

Anticipatory Set: make open house invitations

Vocabulary:

Activities: everyone makes an invitation for her family, discuss the worksheets from web search

Provision for special needs: share worksheets if anyone missed the web quest

CLOSURE: drink hot chocolate since we promised them hot chocolate before the end of SMART

ASSESSMENT: invitations, finished worksheets
